You have to create your categories before creating your products. It’s so easy, you just need to follow these easy steps.
Follow these steps to create a new category:
- Login to your dashboard.
- Navigate to “Categories“ page under “Products” menu.
- Click on “Add Category” button on top right of that page.
- Type name of category you want to add, if you have more than one languages defined, you can also fill in category name in other languages by selecting the language icon from top.
- Select an icon for your category. There are many different icons to choose from. This optional, but this will look nice on your website and mobile site.
- Upload an image for your category if you want to display categories with images in your mobile site.
- If you are creating a sub category, you can select the parent category for the category you are creating now.
- Click on “Add Category” button when done.
